The outlook for the development of halal tourism in Indonesia released by GMTI 2023 is quite promising in the future and is able to improve the economy as a whole. Therefore, strategic steps are needed from all parties to guard this potential so that it can be optimally achieved. On this occasion the author offers the concept of Fireflies Arising Scenario (FAS). FAS tells how to transform a nation with small movements, no need for bombastic slogans here and there. The FAS concept will be internalized with the role of youth and connected with all existing stakeholders, namely government, stakeholders, communities and financial institutions. Each of them carries out its function and synergizes with each other through massive and consistent small movements. The concept offered is hoped to be able to bring acceleration in the development of halal tourism in Indonesia. Maka dari itu, melalui teori tindakan sosial oleh Max Weber, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk megetahui lebih mendalam makna dari ziarah makam Gus Dur bagi santri Generasi Z. Adapun pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode fenomenologi. Berdasarkan hasil dan pembahasan dalam penelitian ini diketahui bahwa bentuk tindakan sosial Generasi Z saat berziarah ke makam Gus Dur ada 4 tipe, yaitu: 1) rasional instrumental: Generasi Z berpikir secara rasional untuk mempelajari pemikiran dan prinsip-prinsip Gus Dur secara online, 2)rasional tujuan orientasi: tindakan rasional dari&nbsp; ziarah makam Gus Dur yang dilakukan oleh santri Generasi Z merupakan tujuan yang sesuai dengan tradisi leluhur, 3) tindakan tradisional: ziarah makam Gus Dur yang dilakukan oleh santri Generasi Z merupakan bentuk adat-istiadat yang sudah ada sejak dulu dan dijalankan oleh santri Generasi Z secara turun-temurun, 4) tindakan afektif: ziarah makam Gus Dur yang dilakukan oleh santri Generasi Z merupakan afektif dimana santri Generasi Z menghormati Gus Dur sebagai sosok yang menginspirasi. Therefore, through the social action theory by Max Weber, this research aims to find out more deeply the meaning of visiting Gus Dur's tomb for Generation Z students. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach with phenomenological methods. Based on the results and discussion in this study, it is known that there are 4 types of social action for Generation Z when visiting Gus Dur's grave, namely: 1) instrumental rationale: Generation Z thinks rationally to learn Gus Dur's thoughts and principles online, 2) rational goal orientation: rational action of visiting Gus Dur's tomb carried out by generation Z students is a goal that is following ancestral traditions, 3) traditional action: visiting Gus Dur's grave carried out by generation Z students is a form of customs that have existed since ancient times and carried on by generation Z students from generation to generation, 4) affective action: the pilgrimage to Gus Dur's grave which was carried out by generation Z students was affective where generation Z students respected Gus Dur as an inspiring figure. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer yang diperoleh dari hasil penyebaran kuesioner dan sekunder yang merujuk pada literatur-literatur yang relevan. Indonesia, which ranks 1st in 2023 in halal tourism, can increasingly spread its wings to increase the potential for halal tourism, one of which is mosques. The aim of this research is to find out whether there is an influence of attractiveness and the results of reviews via social media on people's decisions to visit the Grand Mosque of Sheikh Zayed Banjarsari Surakarta. The method used by the author is quantitative with multiple linear regression analysis in the form of SPSS version 25 tools and a sampling technique in the form of purposive sampling. This research uses primary data obtained from the results of distributing questionnaires and secondary data which refers to relevant literature. The results of the research show that simultaneously the attraction and the results of the review have a significant influence on people's decisions to visit the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. Meanwhile, partially the attractiveness variable has a significant influence on people's decisions to visit the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. Salah satunya dalam mengembangkan dan memasarkan produk pariwisata halal. Teori yang digunakan yaitu teori ekonomi syariah yang mencakup prinsip-prinsp dalam ekonomi Islam seperti terhindar dari yang namanya perjudian (maysir), terhindar dari ketidak jelasan atau ketidakpastian (gharar) serta larangan bunga (riba). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi potensi pada pasar pariwisata halal, mengetahui dampak ekonomi dari pariwisata halal terhadap masyarakat setempat serta mengembangkan strategi pemasaran yang efektif untuk menarik wisatawan internasional ke Indonesia. </em><em>Metode yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan studi literatur. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa potensi pariwisata halal di Indonesia merupakan peluang tidak hanya berpengaruh terhadap pendapatan saja namun banyak hal yang tanpa kita sadari bahwa pariwisata halal merupakan penyumbang terbesar terutama bagi industri pariwisata di Indonesia. The theory used is the Islamic economic theory which includes principles in Islamic economics such as avoiding gambling (maysir), avoiding uncertainty or uncertainty (gharar) and prohibiting interest (usury). The purpose of this research is to identify potential in the halal tourism market, find out the economic impact of halal tourism on the local community and develop an effective marketing strategy to attract international tourists to Indonesia. The method used in this research is literature review. It can be concluded that the potential of halal tourism in Indonesia represents an opportunity that not only impacts revenue but also contributes significantly to the tourism industry in Indonesia. This includes job creation, increased investment, and infrastructure development. Awareness of halal tourism needs to be heightened for targeted efforts. This study aims to determine the effect of halal-friendly on tourist retention in religious tourism in Demak Regency. Halal-friendly in this study is limited to </em><em>variables</em><em>, such as halal-friendly accommodation, halal food, halal-friendly facilities, halal-friendly services and halal-friendly locales and other tours (socio-cultural of the local population). The population in this study is the number of religious tourism visitors in Demak. A sample of 534 respondents was taken by incidental sampling.The analytical tool used is SmartPLS 3.2.9. The results of the study explain that halal-friendly accommodation, halal-friendly facilities, halal-friendly locales and other tours (socio-cultural of the local population) have an effect on tourist retention. The slope of Mount Wilis possesses the potential to emerge as a tourism attraction that caters to the needs and preferences of Muslim travelers. The slopes of Mount Wilis possess significant potential to serve as an emblematic halal tourist destination in western East Java, thereby contributing to the development of tourism in the region. The present study employ</em><em>ed</em><em> a qualitative research methodology. The data was obtained via interviews conducted with tourism stakeholders in the regions of Watu Rumpuk and Taman Gligi.</em> <em>Furthermore, the process of data triangulation involved the utilization of observation.</em><em> The findings </em><em>show</em><em> that the tourism industry in the </em><em>slope</em><em> of Mount Wilis exhibits promising prospects for the development of halal tourism. Lereng Gunung Wilis memiliki potensi untuk menjadi daya tarik pariwisata yang memenuhi kebutuhan dan preferensi wisatawan Muslim. Lereng Gunung Wilis memiliki potensi baik untuk dikembangkan menjadi destinasi wisata halal yang ikonik di wilayah barat Jawa Timur, sehingga dapat berkontribusi pada pengembangan pariwisata di wilayah tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi penelitian kualitatif. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara yang dilakukan dengan pemangku kepentingan pariwisata di wilayah Watu Rumpuk dan Taman Gligi. Selain itu, proses triangulasi data melibatkan penggunaan observasi. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa industri pariwisata di lereng Gunung Wilis menunjukkan prospek yang menjanjikan untuk pengembangan pariwisata halal. Makalah ini mengusulkan pendekatan strategis untuk memajukan pertumbuhan pariwisata halal di wilayah Watu Rumpuk dan Taman Gligi melalui upaya kolaboratif antara banyak pemangku kepentingan.
