Abstract
In this modern era, information and communication technology in education has developed rapidly. One of the most interesting information and communication technology products that can be used as media is Youtube. With regard to media matters, educators need productivity and careful pedagogical assessment. In fact, many educators use improvised learning aids without paying attention to learning. This study describes the use of Youtube videos as social studies learning media at the junior high school level in order to increase the creativity of junior high school social studies educators and provide information to students. The results of the discussion show that videos can increase the creativity, interest and motivation of educators. Instead, students' knowledge of the media has been further developed in the preparation of teaching materials, selection of materials and teaching methods to educators. The use of Youtube videos as a medium directly fosters interest in learning, in terms of looking for ideas and materials, so that students do not get bored.
