Strengthening Qur’anic Literacy through Institutional Collaboration: The Dissemination of the An-Nahdliyah Method in Elementary Education

Purpose : This study aims to disseminate and strengthen the implementation of the Qur'anic learning policy using the An-Nahdliyah Method in elementary education institutions under LP Ma'arif NU Tulungagung by building collaboration between TPQ and formal schools.
Method : This community service program used the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach. Participants were 20 school principals, 15 TPQ managers, and 10 Qur'anic instructors (total 45 people). Data were collected through pre- and post-program assessments, observations, and interviews. The program ran for 3 months.
Practical Applications : The program produced a simple collaboration model: (1) recording TPQ attendance in a one-page logbook, (2) monthly coordination meetings between schools and TPQ, and (3) integrating TPQ outcomes into school report cards (20% weight).
Conclusion : The ABCD approach effectively strengthens Qur'anic literacy through simple, low-cost collaboration. Schools and TPQ can work together without replacing each other's roles.
