The main problem raised is the lack of awareness and skills of adolescents in managing waste independently and sustainably.</p> <p><strong>Method</strong>: The method used in this activity is a participatory approach through CBR, which involves adolescents as active subjects in program planning, implementation, and evaluation. The stages of activities include identification of needs, environmental counseling, technical training in making compost, assistance in the management of waste banks, as well as monitoring and evaluation based on community involvement.</p> <p><strong>Practical Applications</strong>: This activity has a significant practical application, including increasing the capacity of adolescents in managing organic waste, the formation of clean and environmentally friendly living habits, as well as the economic potential of the use of compost and the results of waste management. In addition, this activity also encourages the active participation of the community in maintaining the environment in a sustainable manner.</p> <p><strong>Conclusion</strong>: The results of dedication show that this training is able to increase adolescent awareness and skills in waste management, as well as strengthen their role as agents of change in the village environment. A total of 101 businesses were reached, with 107 products successfully registered for certification, highlighting the program’s significant impact.</p> <p><strong>Method</strong>: The program applied the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, which emphasizes utilizing local potential through four stages: discovery, dream, design, and destiny.</p> <p><strong>Practical Applications</strong>: The activities were implemented through socialization, field surveys, door-to-door visits, and technical assistance in using the Sihalal platform. This program provided education on legality, increased awareness of halal certification, and fostered a culture of compliance among local entrepreneurs.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Conclusion</strong>: The results demonstrate that participatory and educative approaches are effective in increasing the capacity of local business actors, ensuring product legality, and supporting sustainable empowerment of MSMEs in rural areas.</p> Luluk Indarti, Mohammad Ja’far As-Shodiq, Muhamad Hasan Abdillah ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.uinsatu.ac.id/index.php/kjpm/article/view/10839 Tue, 11 Nov 2025 11:40:15 +0700 Optimizing Digital Marketing for MSMEs: The Case of Tape Bakar in Melis Village, Trenggalek https://ejournal.uinsatu.ac.id/index.php/kjpm/article/view/10845 <p><strong>Purpose</strong>: This service program aims to increase the understanding and skills of Ms. Khasanah’s <em>Tape Bakar</em> business in Melis Village by optimizing the use of digital marketing.</p> <p><strong>Method</strong>: The program applies the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach through training sessions, mentoring, and hands-on practice in creating promotional content and managing social media platforms. A pre-test and post-test evaluation were conducted to measure knowledge gain.</p> <p><strong>Practical Applications</strong>: The application of digital marketing is expected to expand market reach, increase sales of <em>Tape Bakar</em>, and support family economic sustainability by combining traditional products with innovative promotional strategies.</p> <p><strong>Conclusion</strong>: The results show measurable improvements: participants’ knowledge scores increased from an average of 52% (pre-test) to 84% (post-test), while Instagram followers of the business account rose from 125 to 310 within one month after training. Online engagement also improved, with product inquiries via WhatsApp Business increasing by 45%. Program ini diharapkan menjadi media edukatif sekaligus simbol representatif desa dalam menghadapi era digital, khususnya dalam penguatan tata kelola informasi dan promosi desa.</p> <p><strong>Method</strong>: Pengabdian dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan <em>Community-Based Research (CBR)</em> yang menempatkan masyarakat sebagai mitra aktif dalam seluruh tahapan kegiatan. Proses dimulai dengan identifikasi kebutuhan dan simbol lokal melalui observasi dan diskusi, dilanjutkan dengan desain kolaboratif menggunakan aplikasi digital seperti Canva. Hasil desain kemudian dipresentasikan kepada warga dan perangkat desa untuk disepakati bersama sebagai logo resmi desa.</p> <p><strong>Practical Applications</strong>: Kegiatan ini tidak hanya menghasilkan logo sebagai simbol resmi desa, tetapi juga meningkatkan keterampilan warga dalam menggunakan teknologi digital secara praktis. Pelatihan singkat desain grafis berbasis aplikasi daring diberikan kepada perangkat desa dan pemuda, yang kemudian memanfaatkan logo untuk berbagai keperluan seperti dokumen resmi, media sosial, promosi UMKM, dan identitas digital desa.</p> <p><strong>Conclusion</strong>: Program ini membuktikan bahwa literasi digital dapat ditanamkan melalui kegiatan kreatif yang kontekstual dengan kebutuhan desa. Melalui pendekatan partisipatif, masyarakat tidak hanya menjadi penerima manfaat, tetapi juga produsen konten digital yang merepresentasikan jati diri desa mereka.
