THE ANALYSIS OF GUS BAHA'S HADITH STUDY ON YOUTUBE: ARBA'IN NAWAWI CHAPTER OF NIAT

Kajian agama yang awalnya disampaikan secara langsung di mana antara Kyai dan santri berada dalam satu majlis, karena perkembangan teknologi pengajian tersebut dapat direkam dan ditayangkan ulang melalui berbagai media sosial salah satunya YouTube. Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis salah satu kajian Hadis yang tayang di YouTube oleh Gus Baha’ dengan materi hadits Arba’in Nawawi pada bab niat. Penelitian ini bersifat etnografi virtual, yang mana data diambil dari kanal YouTube yaitu “Tafsir NU” dan “Islamic Studies With Gus Baha’’. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini meliputi bagaimana teknis pengajian hadis Gus Baha’ dan isi yang terkandung dalam kajian Gus Baha’ terhadap hadis tentang niat. Temuan dalam penelitian ini, pertama Gus Baha’ dalam penyajiannya menggunakan metode bandongan yang dalam penyampaiannya menggunakan bahasa Jawa Pegon sebagaimana tradisi pesantren salaf. Kedua, materi penjelasannya meliputi unsur fikih, sejarah, pemikiran dan qaul sahabat, kontekstualisasi makna hijrah, ajaran tasawuf yang meliputi: kontekstualisasi makna zuhud, ikhlas dan aktualisasi konsep tawadhu’.

Self-awareness is something that distinguishes it from other creatures. In Islamic Education, self-awareness is self-reflection. Awareness can change life into the latest version through the sensitivity of the heart to know the values of events in his life. Every human being has a different level of consciousness. There are still many Muslims who abandon the obligation to worship including a lack of self-awareness of their responsibilities as Muslims or Muslim women. The word awareness looks trivial to some people who do not understand the importance of the awareness that exists within. If you are able to contemplate it, there will be a lot of awareness that comes to mind about what is the purpose of human life in the world. This journal aims to increase the awareness of every Muslim towards a rational (reasonable) life in order to build self-existence and achieve the grace of Allah SWT. So that Islamic education does not only aim to produce knowledgeable human beings, but also faithful and civilized. Islamic education will always influence every individual to make a person who is always aware in the future. The world is the best charity field to achieve happiness in the hereafter, so the level of awareness is very important for it self.

Reinterpretation Reinterpretation of Surah At Taubah Verse 29 Against Acts of Terrorism Using Ma'na-Cum-Maghza Approach in Efforts to Prevent Islamophobia

Abstract: Islamophobia is a phenomenon of fear and threat to Islam. On January 21 2023, an incident occurred when the Koran was burned in Sweden. Islamophobia in this case is triggered by historical trauma due to what some members of extreme Islamic groups have done. This group tends to understand and adhere to the ideology of confrontation that the word "war" in the letter At Taubah verse 29 is only physical warfare against enemies and against people who have different opinions through acts of terror. The formulation of the research problem is how to interpret Surah At Taubah verse 29 using the Ma'na Cum Maghza approach and how to contextualize this interpretation towards acts of terrorism as an effort to ward off Islamophobia? Researchers use this type of library research. The results of research using the Ma'na Cum Maghza approach are that all the behavior and attitudes of Muslims shown are back to the behavior and attitudes of non-Muslims towards Muslims. Muslims are only allowed to attack if they attack Muslims first. In the contextual realm, this verse shows that Islam is a friendly religion and not a cause of chaos, unlike what is said by Islamophobic people. In the current era, there are many various behaviors that are not in accordance with the teachings of the Islamic religion. However, that doesn't mean this has to be immediately shared and fought.

A Kaidah-kaidah Penafsiran dan Ilmu-ilmu Al-Qur'an

Pengkajian terhadap kisah-kisah dalam al-Quran selama ini terfokus pada penggalian aspek bukti kesejarahannya. Hal ini dilakukan untuk membuktikan keberadaan kisah-kisah dalam al-Quran sebagai fakta sejarah yang benar-benar terjadi. Disisi lain, sering kali perhatian terhadap ‘ibrah atau pelajaran yang terkandung dalam kisah justru kurang, bahkan sampai terlalaikan. Mutawalli as-Sya’rawi datang dengan menawarkan pemahaman terhadap kisah dalam al-Quran, tidak hanya dengan menggali ‘ibrahnya saja, melainkan juga menghadirkan kisah serupa pada setiap tempat dan waktu. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif-analisis. Apa yang ditawarka oleh as-Sya’rawi tertuang dalam kaidah bahwa suatu kisah yang tidak menyebutkan nama asli tokohnya, maka kisah tersebut akan terulang dimanapun dan kapanpun. Seperti firaun yang dzalim, dikdator, dan menuhankan dirinya. Begitu pula Dzul Qarnain, yang baik dan memberdayakan orang lemah. Sosok-sosok seperti dua tokoh ini akan terusada di dalam kehidupan, dimanapun dan kapanpun.

Diskursus Problematika Jilbab Perspektif Yunan Yusuf Dalam Tafsir Al-Izzah

This paper will discuss Yunan Yusuf's perspective on the hijab in his interpretation of Al-Izzah while seeking answers to social issues such as women wearing the hijab still being victims of sexual harassment, the hijab being considered unfashionable by certain groups, and the hijab being seen as a hindrance to career advancement. This research is a literature-based study (library research) using a descriptive analysis method with a sociological approach. The results of this study indicate that victims of sexual harassment among women who wear the hijab have two possibilities. Yunan Yusuf explains that women who are still victims of sexual harassment may be wearing a hijab that has sexual appeal, or it could be due to men who cannot control their desires and should be advised to restrain their carnal desires to avoid seducing or disturbing women who already wear the hijab or dress according to Islamic Sharia. Furthermore, concerns of women hesitating to wear the hijab due to unfashionable reasons have been addressed with the emergence of many stores and fashion designers selling clothing that adheres to Islamic Sharia while keeping up with contemporary fashion trends. Lastly, the discussion regarding discrimination against women wearing the hijab in the workplace, leading some women to reluctantly remove their hijabs, is not justified. First, they would be violating religious rules. Second, they are protected by the law. Third, they can seek alternative employment while trusting that Allah has promised sufficiency to His faithful servants who rely on Him.

KONVERGENSI TEOLOGIS: Analisis intertekstual antara Al-Qur'an dan Bibel dalam Tafsir al-Qur’an karya Zainuddin Hamidy dan Fachruddin HS

The discourse of interpreting the Qur'an using the Bible is a controversial topic among mufassirs, especially among contemporary mufassirs in Nusantara. This article aims to discuss the intertextuality interpretation of Zainuddin Hamidy and Fachruddin Hs in Surah Al-Baqarah, especially in the context of using the Bible as a reference in understanding the Qur'an. This intertextuality approach raises interesting questions about how two different scriptures can influence the understanding and interpretation of the Qur'an, as well as its implications for understanding Islam in Indonesia. The research method used in this article is library research with content analysis technique, which allows in-depth analysis of the content of the tafsir al-Qur'an by Zainuddin Hamidy and Fachruddin Hs. By using Edip Yuksel's cross reference theory, the results of this study show that the Biblical quotations set forth by Zainuddin Hamidy and Fachrudin HS in their works are influenced by previous books used as references. There are two intertext models used by Zainuddin Hamidy and Fachrudin HS in Q.S al-Baqarah including: First, the comparative model by comparing the Bibel with the Qur'an or Islamic teachings. Second, the reference model that serves to show the similarity of the theme of the conversation between the Qur'an and the Bibel.

NALAR ‘IRFANI DALAM PENAFSIRAN: STUDI TAFSIR SUFI ‘ISYARI SAHL AL-TUSTARY

Al-Qur'an is a sacred doctrine for the Islamic community. It requires sincere effort and sound reasoning to delve into its interpretative meanings. In the epistemology of Islamic scholarship, three types of reasoning are known: bayani, Irfani, and burhani. Irfani reasoning comprises a set of epistemological principles that have garnered much debate, including strong opposition, with some figures vehemently prohibiting its use in interpreting the meanings of the Qur'an. This opposition aims to prevent the potential deviation from Islamic law, especially in matters of creed. Sahl al-Tustari is a renowned figure considered to be qualified in interpreting the Qur'an using Irfani or ishari reasoning. He is regarded as a moderate ishari figure, minimizing the likelihood of misinterpretation. The epistemology of Irfani reasoning has been practiced since the time of the Prophet Muhammad and has received direct approval from him. Using a descriptive-analytical method, this writing attempts to present and analyze the discourse on Sufi ishari commentary, along with the associated pros and cons.

Double Burden (Dual Roles) of Women in Domestic and Public: Perspectives Surah Al-Qasas 23 and Surah Al-Ahzab 33

The term "Double Burden" refers to a situation in which women simultaneously hold two or more roles as wives, mothers, and employees outside the house, alongside their traditional roles within the household. In this framework, a conflict arises between family responsibilities and employment, creating a dilemma faced by many working women. In Islam, there are various perspectives on the roles of women, including whether they should work outside the house or focus more on domestic duties. This article discusses the two roles performed by women, both in the domestic and public spheres. There are two Quranic verses that indicate different point of views: Surah Al-Qasas: 23 demonstrates women's ability to work outside the home, while Surah Al-Ahzab: 33 suggests that women are better off engaging in activities within the home. The result is the domestic and public roles can both function with the commitment between partners and in accordance with their respective abilities to fulfill their responsibilities.

MASSA TETES AIR HUJAN DALAM ALQURAN (Analisis Ilmiah QS. Az-Zukhruf Ayat 11)

This research particularly examines the meaning of "بقدر" in QS. Az-Zukhruf verse 11 by applying the science of climatology to rainwater levels. This study aims to provide new knowledge regarding the meaning of levels in QS. Az-Zukhruf verse 11. The phenomenon of rain falling to the earth is a natural process and we often feel. The phenomenon of rainwater falling to the earth has a level that has been determined by Allah in the Qur'an to be a mercy, but we often encounter natural disasters caused by the presence of rainwater that falls beyond the capacity of water reservoirs on earth. Thus, to reveal the meaning of the level of rainwater, it takes the discipline of Climatology as an analytical approach. Along with this study, the author applies the Science of Climatology to reveal the calculation of levels in QS. Az-Zukhruf verse 11.This research is a literature study (Library Research) using qualitative research methods, by collecting several paperwork from commentators and scientific scientific journals. The primary data used in this study is the Qur'an QS. Az-Zukhruf verse 11 and books on climatology.The results of the research on the mass of raindrops in Al-Qur’an by implementing the discipline of Climatology are to reveal the meaning of rainwater content in QS. Az-Zukhruf verse 11 and the results of the calculation of the mass of raindrops in the Quran.
