Archiving Policy
Journal of Economics and Policy Studies ensures the long-term preservation and accessibility of its published content through the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN).
The PKP PN has been developed by the Public Knowledge Project to provide a free preservation service for journals using Open Journal Systems (OJS). It utilizes the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) program, which offers decentralized and distributed digital preservation. This ensures perpetual access, as well as preservation of the authentic original version of all published content.
All articles published in Journal of Economics and Policy Studies are assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI), which guarantees persistent linking and long-term archiving. The use of DOIs means that changes in the journal's URL or hosting platform will not affect access to articles.
Additionally, Journal of Economics and Policy Studies employs the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving network among participating libraries. This permits libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation, access, and restoration.
