Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement

This Statement of Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement, derived primarily from the COPE Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors, describes the ethical behavior of all parties involved in publishing articles in a journal, including members of the editorial board, editors, authors, and publishers of Jurnal Dinamika Penelitian: Media Komunikasi Penelitian Sosial-Keagamaan.

Journal Publication Ethics Guidelines

Publishing of articles in peer-reviewed Jurnal Dinamika Penelitian: Media Komunikasi Penelitian Sosial-Keagamaan is an important building block in the development of a coherent and respected body of science. This is a direct reflection of the quality of the work of the authors and the institutions that support them. This Publication Ethics Statement and Malpractice Statement are against the ethical guidelines for all parties involved in publicizing: writers, journal editors, peer reviewers, publishers, and readers / the public. The Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training,  Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah State Islamic University Tulungagung, as a publisher, editor, and member of the editorial board of Jurnal Dinamika Penelitian: Media Komunikasi Penelitian Sosial-Keagamaan, takes guardianship duties over all stages of publishing seriously and acknowledges their ethical responsibility. There is no processing fee for submission and publication of selected articles in Ta'allum: Islamic Education Journal. This journal is also committed to ensuring that advertising, reprinting, or other commercial revenue does not impact or influence editorial decisions. In addition, The Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training,  Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah State Islamic University Tulungagung, the Department of Research and Community Outreach (Institute for Research and Community Service) as co-publishers, and the editorial board of the journal will assist in communication with others. journals and/or publishers that are useful and necessary.

 

Peer Review Policy Jurnal Dinamika Penelitian: Media Komunikasi Penelitian Sosial-Keagamaan

 implementing new COPE and ethics forms for peer reviewers. The journal conducts a blind review, meaning that the author's name is not kept secret from the reviewer during the review process. Information is selected and the author appears only in the submission form and the final production of the manuscript. Authors are obliged to follow the peer review process and cooperate with prompt requests with editors' requests for raw data, clarification, and approval of ethical evidence and copyright permission. In the case of the first decision "requiring revision", the authors must write comments in a systematic, point by point, and timely manner, revising and submitting their manuscript back to the journal within the specified deadline. Submitted manuscripts will be peer-reviewed with prayer, and the scriptwriters will be notified of the results immediately. Jurnal Dinamika Penelitian: Media Komunikasi Penelitian Sosial-Keagamaan also collaborates with reviewers through the online Publon platform. Journal editors must take all necessary steps to attach the identities of authors and reviewers.

Publication Decisions

The editor of Jurnal Dinamika Penelitian: Media Komunikasi Penelitian Sosial-Keagamaan is responsible for deciding which articles should be published in the journal. The validation of the work in question and the importance of researchers and readers should always drive such decisions. Editors can be guided by the policies of the journal's editorial board and the basis of the legal requirements that will be related to copyright, plagiarism, and malpractice behavior. The editors facilitate anonymous correspondence between authors and ordering. Following an editorial decision for acceptance of publication, identity disclosure is appropriate. All manuscripts received by reviewers or partners must be prepared as confidential documents. They may not be permitted or discussed with others unless only limited by editors and authors. Unpublished articles may not be used in the editor's own research without the written consent of the authors. Confidential information or ideas obtained through peer review must be kept confidential and not used for personal gain. The manuscript review process must be carried out objectively. The reviewer must provide their view clearly and be followed by supporting support. Disclosure and conflicts of interest Reviewers should not consider reviewing articles they consider to have a conflict of interest, e.g. because of a personal/professional relationship with the author, company, or institution associated with the manuscript.

 

Editorial Board Duties

The editorial board of Jurnal Dinamika Penelitian: Media Komunikasi Penelitian Sosial-Keagamaan are composed of experts who state in areas within the focus and scope of the journal. Editorial Board members will be involved in reviewing the submitted manuscript. Members advise editors on journal policy and scope, assist editors in identifying topics for specific issues - where members can be guest editors -, attract new authors and submissions, send journals to their peers and peers and assist editors in decision-making on issues such as claiming plagiarism and disagreement between reviewers regarding the manuscript.

 

Task Editor

Editors of Jurnal Dinamika Penelitian: Media Komunikasi Penelitian Sosial-Keagamaan should take the necessary steps to keep up with the latest COPE for journal editors who support the relationship between the editor and the author, the relationship with the reviewer, the relationship with the editorial board, the publisher relationship and new ethics for the editorial process and the possible error. The editors of Jurnal Dinamika Penelitian: Media Komunikasi Penelitian Sosial-Keagamaan, should take all reasonable steps to try to meet the needs of readers and writers; to keep improving the journal; to ensure the quality of the material they publish; to fight for freedom of expression; integrity of academic records; to prevent business requirements from intellectual standards; to encourage ethical research and publication; to always be willing to pay, clarification, revocation, and apology when needed. Editors are willing to be held accountable for everything published in Jurnal Dinamika Penelitian: Media Komunikasi Penelitian Sosial-Keagamaan to actively seek the views of writers, readers, members of the editorial board on ways to improve the quality of the journal. Editors should support initiatives designed to prevent erroneous research and publication, to educate authors about publication ethics, to encourage responsible behavior, and to prevent errors. Relationship with readers Editors should ensure that all published articles have been vetted by a qualified check (including statistical review where appropriate) processes that promote accuracy, completeness, and clarity. Relationship with the author The editor's decision to accept or reject a paper for publication must be subject to the importance, authenticity and clarity of the paper, and the validity of the study and its relevance to the journal's objectives. Editors may not reverse the decision to accept submissions with serious problems identified with the submissions.

Relationship with reviewers Editors provide information to about everything that is expected of them including the need for material sent as confidential documents. Editors should ensure that material submitted to the journal remains confidential while it is being reviewed. Editors must identify the authors whose manuscripts are in the peer-review process and ensure the anonymity of authors and reviewers. Relations with editorial board members Editors provide updates on everything that is expected of members and should keep existing members updated on new policies and developments. Publisher relationship Editors guarantee academic freedom, independence and academic justice and must make decisions about which articles to publish based on the quality and suitability of the journal and without the interference of the publisher. Protect individual data Editors laws regarding the confidentiality of individual information obtained during submission, review process, and publication. Accordingly, editors must take the necessary steps to obtain written approval for publication from authors or persons who may, themselves or be identified by others (eg from case reports or photographs). Dealing with possible mistakes Editors have a duty to act if they suspect any or if allegations are reported to them. This obligation is for papers that are currently being reviewed, published and not published. Editors should not simply reject papers that raise questions about assumptions. They are ethically obliged to pursue alleged cases. The Editor shall make all reasonable efforts to ensure that a proper investigation of the allegations can be carried out; if this is not the case, the editor must make all reasonable efforts to persist in resolving the problem. Ensuring the integrity of academic records and intellectual property Editors must promptly correct errors and statements that are inaccurate or misleading. Editors must be aware of intellectual property issues and cooperate with the The Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Tulungagung, as the publisher of Jurnal Dinamika Penelitian: Media Komunikasi Penelitian Sosial-Keagamaan, to threaten the potential of intellectual property law and conventions. 

Author's DutyReporting standards The author of the original research report must present an accurate report of the work performed as well as an objective discussion of its significance. The underlying data must be accurate in the paper. A paper should contain sufficient detail and references to allow others to post the work. Statements that are deceptive or accurately inaccurate are unethical and unacceptable behavior. Originality and Plagiarism Authors must ensure that they have written completely original work and are quoting or citing the work and/or words of others they use appropriately. Multiple, Redundant or Concurrent Publication An author may not publish published manuscripts describing the same research in more than one journal or major publication. Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal at the same time is an unethical and unacceptable publication behavior. Source recognition Proper recognition of the work of others must always be given. Authors should ensure that they have written and submitted only works that are entirely original, and if they have used the work and/or words of others, that these have been cited appropriately. Publications that were influential in determining the nature of the work reported in the text should also be cited. Plagiarism comes in many forms, from "submitting" someone else's paper as the author's own, or copying a large portion of someone else's paper (without attribution), to claiming the results of research done by others.

Writing Script Only people who meet these authorship criteria should be listed as authors in the manuscript because they must take public responsibility for the content: (i) makes a significant contribution to the conception, design, implementation, data acquisition, or analysis/interpretation of learning; and (ii) drafting the text or critically revising it for important intellectual content; and (iii) have viewed and finalized the paper and submitted it for publication. All persons who make a significant contribution to the work reported in the manuscript (such as technical assistance, writing and editing assistance, general support) but do not meet the criteria for authorship may not be registered as authors, but must be acknowledged in the "Acknowledgment" Section after their written permission to his name was acquired. Relevant authors must ensure that all suitable co-authors (as per the definition above) and no non-conforming co-authors are in the author's list and verify that all co-authors have viewed and submitted the final version of the manuscript and made submissions for publication. Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest Authors must - at the earliest possible stage (submitting a disclosure form upon submission and include a statement in the text) - disclose any conflicts of interest that may be interpreted as having an influence on the results or their interpretation in the text. Examples of potential conflicts of interest that should be a business include financial matters such as honoraria, educational grants or other derivatives, as well as non-financial matters such as personal or professional relationships, knowledge or belief in subject matter or material discussed in the manuscript. All sources of financial support for the job must be businesses (including grant numbers or other reference numbers if applicable). Acknowledgments for article resources and important contributions from institutions and/or individuals to articles should be clearly stated in the "Acknowledgment" section. Fundamental deepening in published works When an author finds significant errors or inaccuracies in his published work, it is the author's obligation to immediately notify the journal editor or publisher and work with the editor to return or correct the paper.

 

Duties of the Publisher

The Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training at the State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Tulunggagung takes all necessary steps to guard and encourage the sustainability of Jurnal Dinamika Penelitian: Media Komunikasi Penelitian Sosial-Keagamaan. He works with editors and editorial board members to create new, relevant journals and policies. It also provides and online platform for journals and assists the publication and indexing of journal articles. Publishers ensure journal editors, authors, tax, policy, and best practices. It will review policies regularly and update policies as necessary. The publisher will also work and collaborate with editors and editorial board members for any potential intellectual property and law. If necessary, appoint "committees" to advise editors and editorial board members about possible errors, potential policy and tax journals as well as intellectual property and law. Access to journal content The publisher is committed to establishing and preserving the published manuscripts and ensuring the accessibility of journal contents. Publisher makes efforts to increase the visibility of published works through data set maintenance, archiving, abstracts, and indexing of published works.

 


Ethical Concerns

 Editors (in a publisher, editorial board member, reviewer, ethics committee, and/or the public) will take responsive steps when ethical issues are raised with submitted manuscripts or published papers. Any reported conduct of unethical behavior will be enforced, even if discovered years after publication. Editors follow COPE's Flowchart when reporting allegations. Handling unethical behavior In cases of suspected or proven scientific error, false publication, or plagiarism, the publisher, in close collaboration with editors and members of the editorial board - as well as the ethics committee where necessary - will take all appropriate action to clarify the situation and visit. the article in question. This includes the immediate publication of the erratum, clarifications or, in the most severe cases, repeal of existing works. Publishers, together with editors, should take reasonable steps to identify and prevent publication of papers in which erroneous research has occurred, and under no circumstances encourage such errors or deliberately allow such errors to occur.
