The purpose of this article is to find out and add knowledge about the development of social studies teaching materials and to find out good teaching materials to maximize students' social skills. Every school definitely requires a development where one of the developments is in the development of teaching materials or materials, including social studies subjects, which certainly require teaching materials which are a set of tools and means in learning that contain boundaries, methods and materials. Teaching materials are usually in the form of modules for student learning as well as for teacher guidance, which are very much needed in every learning activity in schools. Social studies learning is no exception, where the development of social studies teaching materials is expected to be able to shape the character of good students.
