Abstract

This research aims to determine the application of the qiyasi method in Nahwu learning and the contents of the 36 hour pattern book. The problem of this research is how to apply the qiyasi method in learning Nahwu with a 36 hour pattern book. This type of research uses field research with descriptive analysis methods. The sample for this research was 15 students from class IX-2 and IX-5 and nahwu teachers. The research instrument uses structured interviews and documentation in the form of a 36 hour pattern book, a voice recorder containing the results of the interview. The data collection techniques used were: observation, interviews and documentation. Data were analyzed using: 1.) data reduction 2.) data presentation, 3.) drawing conclusions and verification. The results of the research show that the qiyasi method is effective. The introduction of general to specific material can make it easier to introduce Nahwu rules. The contents of the 36 hour pattern book are very easy to understand, both from the structured subtitles, concise language, and the many evaluations available.
