Abstract
This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using Wordwall-based interactive media in improving the learning interest of eighth-grade students in Indonesian language at SMP Tunas Harapan Malaka, Makassar. This study employed a quantitative approach with a one-group pre-test and post-test experimental design. The research subjects consisted of 24 students. Data were collected through tests, learning interest questionnaires, and observations, and analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics through a t-test. The results showed a significant increase in students’ learning interest after the implementation of Wordwall, indicated by higher post-test scores, increased learning mastery, and questionnaire results categorized as high. The hypothesis testing also revealed a significant effect of Wordwall usage on students’ learning interest. Therefore, Wordwall is effective as a learning medium to enhance students’ interest in learning Indonesian.
