Conflict of Interest Policy

Al-Tadris: Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa Arab

Al-Tadris: Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa Arab is committed to maintaining the integrity, transparency, and objectivity of the scholarly publication process. All authors, editors, and reviewers are required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest that may influence, or be perceived to influence, the preparation, evaluation, or publication of a manuscript.

1. Authors

Authors must disclose any financial, professional, personal, institutional, or academic relationships that could reasonably be perceived as influencing their research or manuscript. Such relationships may include employment, consultancy, funding, financial interests, close personal relationships, or other relevant academic collaborations.

A conflict of interest statement must be included in the manuscript or submitted through the journal's submission system. If no conflict of interest exists, authors should explicitly state: “The authors declare that they have no conflict of interest.”

2. Editors

Editors must handle manuscripts fairly and objectively. An editor who has a potential conflict of interest with a manuscript, its authors, or the research must disclose the conflict and withdraw from the editorial decision-making process. The manuscript will be assigned to an independent editor when necessary.

3. Reviewers

Reviewers must disclose any potential conflicts of interest before accepting a review assignment. Reviewers should decline the invitation if personal, professional, institutional, financial, or academic relationships could compromise their impartiality. Reviewers must also maintain the confidentiality of all manuscripts under review.

4. Disclosure and Management

All relevant conflicts of interest must be disclosed as early as possible during the submission, peer-review, and editorial decision-making processes. The editorial team will assess the disclosure and take appropriate measures to ensure an independent, fair, and transparent evaluation.

Depending on the circumstances, these measures may include appointing an independent editor or reviewer, requesting additional disclosure, or taking other appropriate editorial actions to protect the integrity of the publication process.

5. Commitment to Publication Ethics

Al-Tadris: Journal of Arabic Education is committed to handling conflicts of interest in accordance with recognized publication ethics principles. Failure to disclose a relevant conflict of interest may result in further editorial action, including reconsideration of a manuscript or correction of the published record when warranted.

This policy applies to all parties involved in the journal's publication process and is intended to safeguard the credibility and impartiality of scholarly communication.
