AI Declaration Use

Policy on the use of GenAI

 

Authors may employ generative artificial intelligence (AI) tools solely for the purpose of improving language clarity, grammar, and overall readability of their manuscripts. The use of such technologies is subject to the following conditions:

  1. Authors are fully responsible for reviewing, verifying, and editing all content generated with the assistance of AI tools to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and originality of the submitted work.
  2. Generative AI systems or Large Language Models (LLMs) must not be listed as authors or co-authors under any circumstances.
  3. Any use of AI LLMs in the manuscript preparation process must be transparently disclosed in the Methods section.
  4. Authors are required to include a statement titled “Declaration of AI/ AI Declaration” at the end of the manuscript, placed immediately before the References section. This declaration must clearly describe how and to what extent AI tools were used.
  5. The use of AI or AI-assisted technologies for generating, altering, or manipulating images, figures, or videos is strictly prohibited. All visual materials must be created entirely by human authors without AI involvement. Adjustments to brightness, contrast, or color balance are permitted provided that such modifications do not conceal, distort, or remove any information contained in the original image.
  6. The overall use of AI-assisted technologies in the manuscript must not exceed 15% of the total content (for language polishing and not AI-generated ideas, data interpretation, or visuals).
