Jurnal Bahasa Lingua Scientia (JBLS) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published biannually (June and Desember) through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform. The journal provides an international forum for high-quality research in language, linguistics, literature, and language education, welcoming studies on all languages—including international, national, regional, indigenous, and heritage languages—as well as emerging topics such as multilingualism, digital language learning, Computer-Assisted Language Learning (CALL), and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in language education. Jurnal Bahasa Lingua Scientia was last accredited at SINTA 5, based on Decree No. 10/C/C3/DT.05.00/2025, valid from Vol. 14 No. 1 (2022) to Vol. 18 No. 2 (2026).

System Recovery and Operational Continuity in 2026

The Editorial Team would like to inform authors, reviewers, and readers that the journal's Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform experienced a cybersecurity incident that temporarily disrupted its operation. As a result, some manuscript records, including newly submitted manuscripts and those undergoing the peer-review process, were unfortunately lost.

To ensure the continuity of the publication process, the Editorial Team contacted the affected authors and kindly requested them to resubmit their manuscripts. We sincerely appreciate the understanding, patience, and cooperation of our authors and reviewers during this unexpected situation.

Following comprehensive system recovery and security improvements, the journal has fully restored its editorial and publishing operations. The OJS platform has now been operating normally for several months, and all submission, review, and publication processes have resumed under enhanced security measures. We remain committed to maintaining the integrity, reliability, and quality of our publication services.
