Allegations of Research Misconduct Policy

Jurnal Bahasa Lingua Scientia (JBLS) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of research integrity and publication ethics. The journal takes allegations of research misconduct seriously, including plagiarism, data fabrication, data falsification, duplicate publication, authorship manipulation, citation manipulation, and unethical research practices.

Allegations may be submitted by authors, reviewers, readers, editors, or other relevant parties through the journal's official editorial communication system. Reports should provide a clear explanation of the alleged misconduct and supporting evidence, where available.

The Editor-in-Chief or designated editor will conduct an initial assessment to determine whether the allegation warrants further investigation. Authors concerned will normally be given an opportunity to respond. When necessary, the journal may request additional evidence or contact the authors' affiliated institutions, research-integrity offices, or other relevant authorities.

All allegations will be handled confidentially, fairly, impartially, and in accordance with the journal's publication ethics policy and relevant Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines. No conclusion of misconduct will be made without appropriate consideration of the available evidence.

Depending on the findings, the journal may take appropriate action, including requesting corrections, publishing an expression of concern, retracting an article, rejecting a manuscript, or notifying the relevant institution. The Editor-in-Chief has the authority to determine the appropriate editorial action.

Jurnal Bahasa Lingua Scientia (JBLS) aims to protect the integrity of the scholarly record, ensure accountability, and maintain public trust in academic research.
