Ar Rehla: Journal of Islamic Tourism, Halal Food, Islamic Traveling, and Creative Economy respects authors' intellectual property rights and ensures transparency in the ownership, publication, distribution, and reuse of scholarly articles. Authors retain copyright in their published works, while articles are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0) License.

1. Copyright Ownership

Copyright in articles published by Ar Rehla remains with the respective authors. The journal does not require authors to transfer copyright ownership as a condition of publication.

Authors retain the right to reproduce, distribute, share, translate, adapt, and reuse their scholarly works, subject to applicable legal requirements and existing licensing commitments.

Authors may deposit their published articles in institutional repositories, academic websites, and other scholarly platforms while acknowledging Ar Rehla as the original publisher.

2. Publishing Rights

By agreeing to publication, authors grant Ar Rehla a non-exclusive right of first publication, including permission to publish, reproduce, distribute, preserve, and disseminate their articles through the journal's publishing platform and relevant scholarly dissemination services.

This arrangement does not transfer copyright ownership or prevent authors from exercising their retained rights.

3. Creative Commons Licensing

All articles published by Ar Rehla are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0) License.

This licence permits users to:

  1. Share: Copy and redistribute published articles in any medium or format.

4. Third-Party Copyrighted Materials

Authors are responsible for ensuring that photographs, figures, maps, illustrations, documents, and other third-party materials included in their articles are used with appropriate permission or another valid legal basis.

Third-party materials not covered by the article's CC BY-SA 4.0 licence must be clearly identified, including their copyright holders and applicable reuse conditions.
